Digital communication
Nestlé Health Science (NHS) Italia, a division of Nestlé created to promote the therapeutic role of nutrition, highlights the need to create a “digital culture” in the healthcare world on dysphagia, pathology very widespread but largely underestimated.
In 2018, we were thus entrusted with the task of designing and developing an educational platform (Nutritional Academy) aimed at all health professionals involved in the diagnosis and treatment of nutritional problems related to this disease.
It was founded in Switzerland in 1866, when the pharmacist Henry Nestlé invented Milky Flour, a specific food for children who could not be breastfed.
Following continuous growth over the years through important acquisitions, today it is the largest company in the world for the production and distribution of products for nutrition, health and well-being.
In 2010, he founded Nestlé Health Science, a research institution created with the aim of giving a new therapeutic role to nutrition.
Nutritional Academy: dedicated to health professionals
Slide kit, interactive clinical cases, video lessons, e-books, contributions of high scientific value created with the support of an independent and authoritative KOL board: Nutritional Academy is a project educational for the development of medical sciences that offers a meeting point between all health professionals involved in the diagnosis and management of patients with nutritional problems.
The portal has the ambitious goal of becoming a national reference point for peer-to-peer dialogue on the clinical nutrition of dysphagic and malnourished patients, in order to increase awareness medical on the problem, as well as the percentage of early diagnosis.
